What’s On Ayrshire Magazine has been successfully in circulation for over 11 years. Providing tourists and residents with a comprehensive list of up to date events covering the Ayrshire and Arran area. The A5 glossy magazine comes out 5 times a year with a distribution of 20,000 copies per edition.

What’s On is distributed to over 150 outlets  covering a wide area from as far down as Girvan and up to Largs.

The outlets include caravan parks, country parks, restaurants, hotels, libraries, activity centres and we also have display stands at  Burns Mall Shopping Centre Kilmarnock, Ayr Central Shopping Centre, Rivergate Shopping Centre and the Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr

The magazines are also available in all South Ayrshire Council’s customer service centres in Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Girvan & Maybole.

We are always receiving new requests from businesses and organisations to have copies available for them to offer customers and visitors as a valuable handy guide to What’s On in the local area.


In the ever changing world of marketing you may think many people are favouring digital over print, yes to a certain extent, however demand for our publication is still strong. You can browse at your leisure with no intrusive pop ups or fake news and many people still enjoy the relaxing experience of grabbing a coffee, sitting down and browsing our guide.

As the publication is packed full of events for a 2 month period people tend to keep the magazine reverting to upcoming events, ensuring reader engagement and a much longer shelf life of your advertisement. You can keep a copy in your, bag, car, office etc.

You can promote an event in our listings section from as little as £35 + vat and display adverts from only £75 + vat.

Our next edition is Mar/Apr 2019 Artwork deadline is the 11th February.

We can assist with artwork design free of charge and send a proof for approval before going to print.
