Launch of William McIlvanney Leisure Centre Wednesday 26th September.
Come along, bring your friends and celebrate National Fitness Day and the launch of William McIlvanney Leisure Centre with a fun, free fitness party on Wednesday, September 26.
The event kicks off at 5.30pm with a free 45-minute GlowBODYATTACK session, complete with disco lights, glowsticks, UV facepaint and a live DJ.
Then from 6.15pm to 7pm there will be a series of fun challenges with some great prizes up for grabs, including a stork balance challenge, leg Mexican wave and plank clap challenge.
The evening continues with a 10-minute Metafit taster session from 7.05pm to 7.15pm, before a free half-hour session of GlowMetafit from 7.30pm to 8pm.
Challenges will run on a drop-in basis. Numbers for classes are limited and booking is advised by calling the centre on 01563 535735.
The event is for over 14s only, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The regular Wednesday evening BODYPUMP session will run as normal, priced £4.50 or free for Gold members.

Part of the William McIlvanney school campus, the leisure centre opened for business last month and is managed by East Ayrshire Leisure Trust.
The venue offers a number of sports halls suitable for badminton, football, basketball, netball and martial arts; a dance studio hosting fitness classes including Les Mills, and a fully equipped fitness suite with a free weights area and a variety of cardio and resistance machines.
The centre is open from 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
