GUY FAWKES EVENING AT DOBBIES

The UK’s leading destination garden centre is inviting locals and visitors alike to celebrate around one of the most well-loved calendar events of the year, Guy Fawkes Night, for an evening to remember this autumn.

Guests can choose from two menu ticket options which both include access to the firework display. Starting at just £6 per person for the street food menu ticket, with options including pulled pork, cider glazed hot dogs and toasted marshmallows. For those that would like to enjoy a sit-down supper the Dobbies restaurant will be serving a three-course firework themed menu. At £12 per person, choose from a variety of delicious dishes, from Catherine Wheel sausage and squash mash, Gunpowder beef chilli or Smokey 5 bean stew - ensuring guests won’t leave hungry. Following the display, guests will be welcomed to explore the brand-new Christmas ranges launching for the festive season ahead and leave feeling inspired.

Advanced booking is recommended and food service is available 6pm-7.30pm on the night, the fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm, followed by the opportunity to see the exciting new Christmas range, with the evening coming to a close at 8.30pm.

The much loved display at Ayr Rugby Club returns for 2017.

There will be a fun fair for children, freshly made Indian Cuisine from Sharma's Street Food and music from DJ Stefan Janik.

Tickets: £5, with under-5s free, and you can pay on the gate on the night.

Gates open 6.30pm Fireworks start 7.30pm.

KILWINNING COMMUNITY FIREWORKS DISPLAY

There will be two displays this year as a first for the area - a shorter low noise display at 6pm for younger families & those who have a low noise tolerance. Then for the full 18 minute display assemble arrive for 6.45pm.

With music on stage from 5pm. On site free balloon art, fire acts and both displays. Also kids rides, stalls, games, burger van, donuts, icecream and lots more to keep you amused plus some great music by very talented local singers: Caitlin Carruthers, Ewan McArthur, Spencer Shek, Emma Sarginson and Josh Gorst.

Happy Hour from 4.30 to 5.30pm on the kids rides. So come early!

Collecting buckets for those who can afford to donate at the entry points. Please come and support your local community fireworks display.
