Septembayr is a mixed media festival, a month of entertainment involving popular and classical music, drama, children’s performances, street events and comedy.
A programme of events, I believe, where there is something to suit everyone. It’s a Festival created as a visitor attraction and for the people of Ayr and the surrounding towns and villages to enjoy. A Festival to showcase new performers as well as popular returning bands and performers. We invite at least one well recognised artist to headline our programme and this year we have Donnie Munro who has enjoyed considerable success as a solo artist and writer.
As always, we start off on the first day of September and our popular Street Day will be on Saturday 6th September. For more details visit the website.

The Cross will be the setting for the spectacular floral and plant display and all the favourite food stalls will return including the traditional German Schwenkgrill, the exotic meats from around the world, Spanish Paella, Caribbean street food and loads more.
Back again will be the artisan French baker where everything will be baked from scratch on the stall. Apart from the mouth watering food there will also be traditional crafts from countries as far apart as Finland and Peru!
Featuring over 50 traders from around the world, the Global shopping extravaganza has become one of the most popular events in Ayrshire.
|Thur 4th - Sun 7th September 2014||9am - 6pm (Sun 10am - 4pm)|
Scottish Airshow has been revived after a 22 year gap and hope you will enjoy the 2014 format and the many exciting things we will bring to Ayrshire.
On Saturday there will be a show site on the Low Green where you will be able to enjoy a day of entertainment and fun. With events in the show ring during the day, funfare, aeroplane simulators where you can practice to be like our amazing Airshow pilots and many other great family attractions.
During the afternoon there will be a fabulous flying display which will start with a truly unique formation. The Battle of Britain Memorial flight will bring their Hurricane and Spitfire World War 2 fighters and the Lancaster bomber. For the first time ever they will be joined by the only other Lancaster still flying. The Canadian Lancaster comes across the Atlantic Ocean for a summer tour of Europe and we are delighted that we have persuaded them to come to Ayr on Saturday 6th September.
The FREE Airshow will continue with currently another 8 flying acts. If you want to see skill and daring then The Blades aerobatic team will thrill you. All the pilots are ex Red Arrows display pilots and their close formations are very very close !!
This is a day out not to be missed, for more information visit the website.
