Scottish Assault Courses, Craufurdland Estate, Kilmarnock

MUD RUN MAYHEM

Challenge yourself to 5k of mayhem as you run, crawl, climb and slide your way round this muddy assault course, in aid of Hansel.

The course by scottish Assault Coursesm Craufurdland Estate, Fenwick was designed and tested by the military elite but with an emphasis on fun and several 'softer' options - participants can opt out of obstacles or reduce the length of their challenge depending on their fitness levels. You can take part on your own or why not gather a team together? Participants are advised to wear old clothes and bring a change of clothing and a towel.

Back by popular demand the Land o Burns Starlight Walk and we would be delighted if you could join us! There are three routes to choose from, 4, 9 or 13 miles so there's a route to suit the whole family!

The atmosphere is always fantastic, and we've got some great entertainment lined up to get you in the party spirit beforehand and then along the route to make you smile on each passing mile! Enjoy the thrill of travelling in a brake van behind one of our working steam locomotives along a short section of the former Dalmellington Iron Company's main railway line. View our extensive collection of steam and diesel locos and other items of rolling stock. The Museum has narrow gauge items of rolling stock, photographic displays and a working model steam railway.

We even have a model railway for the children to play with. The Souvenir Shop has many items at pocket money prices especially for our younger visitors. The Cafe serves teas, coffee, soft drinks and snacks all day during Steam Days. Free Car Park.
