Well, had a wee nosey at the developments at the Carlton Hotel today while dropping off some magazines. Have to say I’m very impressed, the grass had just been laid and the sprinklers were working flat out. Glad to see that old conservatory down, it must have been great in it’s day but I think it had past it’s sell by date.

The new large windows and patio area look great, couldn’t really see much inside but from what David ( new Operations Manager) describes it sounds fantastic. Can’t wait for the grand opening which I do believe is the end of the month.
I even took a piece of the new Carlton home with me and didn’t realise. Was driving and could feel something under the accelerator, looked down and there was a rather large pebble, one of the decorative stones from The Carlton must have got wedged in between the sole and  heel of my boot. Lol

Well everyone, our endeavours see the light of day, the new website is now live and kicking. We started by putting the main content of the magazine online, but it became so much more than this. We just didn’t feel that there was anything which really represented business, events, and what’s on listings for the Ayrshire area, so decided to make it ourselves.

We have loads of pages for you to look at, representing every activity and event we could think of, but of course you’ll probably know of lots of events and places to do, things to see in the area that we’ve missed. So please tell us about them! Have you got a local group you’d like listed in our community section? Do you have a favourite restaurant that’s not here? Or are you one of the local businesses who would like a listing or even an advert?

Whatever you do, if you live in Ayrshire there will be something for you inside. Please have a look and leave your comments!!
